Grapple Bucket

Are any of you guys running a grapple bucket/loader on your Ford? I am thinking of putting my loader back on my 861 but really need a grapple bucket attachment for brush loading. I need some ideas.

I run a grapple bucket on my skidsteer. It's an ingersol-rand (bobcat, you could say) grappled bucket and it's my favorite toy. Once you own one, you will never be able to live without one. I have used it to pull fence posts out, remove low hanging tree limbs, pile up brush, stack round bales of hay, scrap old metal things(I love crushing fuel tanks with the dozer and then fold them with the bucket. I got 4 275 gallon diesel tanks into the bed of a pickup truck.

If you are thinking about buying one, I suggest you do. I don't know how it would work on slower FEL hydraulics. I would imagine sometimes it would be pretty dangerous, as you can pick up a lot more than you can handle. That is the only drawback. From a safety standpoint, it's all about judging the load correctly and not being lazy, trying to get too much at one time.

I think the biggest drawback I have with it on my skidloader is that my body is right behind teh bucket. there is no buffer zone to keep me away from pointy sticks and thorny bushes. IF it was on teh front of a tractor, I bet I would have the whole farm cleared by now.
