My buddy screwed up and bought a kabota gray market mini excavator. Now he can't find a book or parts for it. Does any one know where i can get a book or find out what the U.S. version model would be. the model# is RX501 thanks in advance

Didn't know what that it, googled it and learned. Found this interesting reading on the topic, it states you can identify and get parts at your dealers.

Also mentioned, there are no english manuals for these machines.

No English books,, and best I can remember the kx 121-2 is going to be close to his model. If not get the model from the engine then go to kubota web site and look for american excvator that uses the same engine and you will be getting close. There are some Japan (grey market) machines that there is just not a us counterpart. Really gets bad in the area of pumps and final drives.. Engines no problem and you can always find hoses and cylinders.
