grease zerk threads

I put on self sharpening blades. Yes deere has them for 60" decks. Haven’t sharpened for two years. They work.

I bought my old commercial Hustler FasTrac Z in 2002, The original sealed blade spindles are still working fine. Wish I still worked as good.

What's self-sharpening? Does it actually sharpen itself or is it a better steel that doesn't get dull very quickly?

follow up : no pictures , bought a package of ten Grainger 52 N Z 79 . 1& 5/8" long , male 1/4" -28 threads one end & a 1/4" -28 zerk in other end. Remove zerk from one & use it for an extension , now approx 2& 3/4" long. Not as handy as using tubes but a lot cheaper !
I too would like to hear more about the self-sharpening blades
