Great Plains Solid Stand 10

Is this drill any good for notilling beans into corn stalks and wheat into bean stubble?

Im sick of having to find someone in the busy season to plant my beans and wheat.

Does anyone have first hand experience with one of these? It will be planting about 50ac of beans and the same in wheat a year so the 10 footer is fine for me.

We ran one.over at least 10,000 acres in its tenure. will work very well for what you want. Check parallel linkages for bushing wear, especially closing wheel arms.

These drills do a pretty good job of getting a stand in no-till. I use mine on soybeans planted into green cereal rye and drilling rye into soybean stubble and corn stalks. One thing I do not like about it is getting the seeding rate right. I finally built a box that catches each seed run and drive distance to equal 1/10th. acre, weigh seed, and take times 10 to fine tune seeding rate.

Buy a no-till caddy with it and that drill will put the seed where you want it.Just look drill over good first, it has a lot of moving parts.
