Grill hardware missing

Does anyone know what hardware is used to attach the
grill on an 8N. Mine has been off for quite some
time and cant find the original hardware

On my 8N, the grill is held in simply by two pivot pins in the lower part and two springloaded pins in the top. In this way, it folds forward for cleaning out straw, grass, or other debris when mowing, etc. Simple but elegant design.

Like Jim sez, there ain't no hardware. Just the pins in the bottom of the grill slip into the holes in the bottom of the dog legs. You must first loosen the dog legs to gain enough clearance to receive the grill pins. It's just the old tab "A" into slot "B" routine.

This is good info Gents. I"ve been looking for a grill for my N and haven"t seen a hardware kit yet. Thanks for the responses.

Thanks for the info. I understand how the bottom attaches but ther are no spring loaded pins on mine There are four clips with holes attached to the tractor (in front of the radiator. And there are holes on top that I guess pins could slip into but where do I get the pins?

Trish, to my knowledge, no one is making separate grill components. You must buy the whole grill which are available in several confirmation grades - Or if your grill is in good condition, you may cannibalize pins from a damaged grill that is commonly available on Ebay.

I removed the top spring clips from my replacement grill. I had to big a gap between hood and grill.I used bolts welded to grill. So, I have set of spring pins if yours are truly missing. They each need 2 small rivets.

Hi harry
I just saw your message. I think I could use the pins you have.
Maybe I should take a photo so we can tell if they will work
