GT235 Garden Tractor - no electric power, no lights to dash or head lights and it will not turn over. Battery is fully charged.

Diagnosis??

If you have a volt meter, you could start checking the voltage at different connections until you find where the voltage is dropping. A fully charged 12 volt battery should have around 12.7 volts when fully charged.

Are you sure the battery is charged? From there ground cable/connections and the ignition switch are places to start checking.

Found the problem - The wire from the starter to the ignition switch was broken. It was located in the buntle which lies under or nearly under the battery on the left side of the tractor.
Apparently the residue from the battery and the fact that the edge of the battery was laying on the bundle caused the wire cover to wear away and corrode the wire itself. A quick splice and the old girl roared into action. A friend used a volt meter all along the wire until he found a spot with no voltage and then followed the wire back until we discovered the break. Thanks for all of the help.
