GTC, GTB or GB?

Brought home another G last night. Model plate SN# clearly identifies as a GTB although the “G” looks a little suspect. The SN# 01604859 puts it at end of production 1952. A GTC would have an 0470 sn# prefix. It apears that maybe the LP equipment may have been added to a GTB tractor either dealer or farm installed? The engine tag “403A-4 02004880” is also is consistent with a GTB model tractor. Can anyone put this engine in a date range based on 4880? It is only 29 units away from the tractors SN# so maybe the original engine?

Thanx! It’s got issues as I dig into it. One brake stuck, clutch is stuck, regulator will come apart today. It runs for a second or two and quits, but sounded really good while running briefly several times. Heads are not correct for an LP GB but Ill deal with that later. Trying to make sure its a good runner before I sink too much time and $$ into it.
