gtmd tractor

can anyone help with information on a gtmd mm tractor..pics or there history??
fitted with a uk meadows diesel engine
ideally would like some pics of 1 please.ive recently purchased 1

I am guessing you are in UK or the tractor is from there. There was a little written about the Meadows Diesel conversion in a little red book about MM. I haven't seen my copy of that book in years.
What little (I think) I know is the Diesel was installed after the tractor was imported to the UK.

I read a story years ago that some MM tractors were shipped, the ship went down close to you, the tractors were picked back out of the sea and the engines were replaced with the Meadows'.
I could be very wrong, that's how I remember the story.

i think thats the uts models that got sunk

some had perkins l4 engines fitted

U's were shipped to UK with no motors and were repowered with the Meadows and Dorman motors.
