Gutter guards

My Gutters are 4 and can't find guards for 4 most are universal 4,5, and6 I need ones that fit into gutter not under the roofing, thanks

4" gutters are a thing of the past. For the past 30 or 40 years everyone around here have gone to 6".

You may try a brand called Peak that use to be sold by Home Depot.

I found some at Menards. They snap onto the front edge and go to the back. I have metal roofs so I can't use the ones that go up under shingles without trimming them off. The ones from Menards fit right on. No trimming needed. And best of all they were also one of the lowest cost versions too.

Those are just roof rotters with the ice build up in winter then the freeze thaw cycles, and the roof is wet up under the shingles. Gutters are full of ice just a waste of time and money for the whole thing. Have longer eaves and good drainage away from the walls and all will be fine. I have about 14-18 inches off the roof and no rotters with no water problems to the walls and drains well around the house. I have no sump pump system just a drain tile out from the house for the cellar drain. No water on the floor so no need for one.

Easy for you to say. Not everyone's situation is so easy.
