Hey the new at 6pm said you where getting a lot of snow down your way as in 12 plus inches. So you keeping your head above all that cold wet stuff and keeping things warm?? News also said a bunch of roads down there where closed and little if any thing was moving.

Weather people lie (just like carb diagrams). Less than an inch on the ground & none on the pavement. It never got below 33 degrees although it snowed for over 12 hours.

BREAKING NEWS--weather people are not in charge of snow or rain or tornados or any other kind of weather event but they are welcome to GUESS and/or report it when they see it outside their window.

Agreed. Rather, weather forecasters are responsible for maintaining ratings as high as is possible regardless of the accuracy of forecasts.

Unfortunately, program managers have convinced themselves that ratings and, as a consequence, ad revenue will be maximized by sensationalizing weather forecasts (as well as news) even if the forecasters become laughing stocks in the community.

Ya I think it was channel 3 that said Crocker and Salem had a lot of snow and in Pulaski county they had am ambulance off in the ditch. But then they also did not show any pictures so they may have gotten a bum lead

So thats why I cant stand to watch them and they are wrong most of the time?I thought they were just getting dumber.They think they are sensationalizing the weather.Idiocracy!
