H F floor jackes

Have any of you guys had any experience with the large floor jacks from H F Tell me the good as well as bad

I don't have personal experience but the tire shop I use has nothing but the HF floor jacks and they don't complain about them. There must be 40 HF jacks in the place, many in use at any one time becuase that shop does not have enough lifts, so tire rotations, mountings etc. are done with the HF floor jacks. They get used hard.

Got a fifty and ten ton bottle jack from them. Had fifty ton on the big one several times, still works. I wouldn't be afraid of the floor jacks.

I have had one for about 20 years and was happy with it as it has had some abuse in those years. It does need replaced (leaky seals) and probably will be replaced with another HF jack since I can't seem to find anything of better quality locally.

I like the low profile racing type aluminum Floor jack. It light enough I can put it in the truck without having back pains. Also like the 3 ton jack, cheaper, lifts just as high as the aluminum, but I don't want to lift it.

I got a 3 ton low profile jack for $90 or so in the late fall. It has been great so far. I have used it to lift the JD 40C I am slowly working on. Haven't had it long enough yet to tell for sure but it seems to work well.

If it's the one that raises quickly and then changes to a slower pace when it begins to lift something, I bought the same one and I love it.

I've had another HF 3 ton floor jack for 5 years or so. No problem with either one.

Costco and Sam's Club also have some good prices on floor jacks.

I saw in a recent ad from HF that they now have a lab to test their tools and other products to determine if their product meet or exceed similar products being sold in stores. It's been a long while, but HF is slowly improving the quality of a lot of things that they sell. Of course, they are not always the lowest priced on quite a few items now.

I bought a 3 ton jack with the two stage pump just like you have from a MATCO tool truck for $350. A month later, I'm in HF and there sets the same jack, bolt to bolt, wheel to wheel, it's the same jack with red paint and a cheap little sticker.

I could have bought 3 of those for what I paid for mine.

Over the past 8 years, I've bought 4 of the 3 ton floor jacks. Haven't had a problem with any of them. Would recommend them highly. Especially when you can buy them on sale.

I bought a 4 ton floor jack from them about 10 years ago, no problems, wish I bought it 10 years earlier and I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It's far better than the little cheap Sears jack I struggled with for years.

I own 4 HF jacks, 2 4000# and 2 6000#. Yet to have an issue with any of them. My son had an old single stage 7000# jack. He was having issues with it, so I traded him one of my 6000#. He loves how fast the 2 stage ones work. I fixed his 7000# and it takes many pumps to use it. I got the short end of the trade.

(quoted from post at 20:02:21 03/11/16) I've had one for three years now and its still working good and I'm sure I've overloaded it a few times.

YEP - Same story here so DITTO! :)

I have a 10 floor jack I bought from them back when they only had one store in California. It is close to 40 years old now. The only problem I have had with it is one broken return spring on the pump pedal.
