H governor whine

I bought a 1939 H at an auction this weekend that looks to be in good shape. No noises when I drove it around there. I parked it at home overnight and the next morning when I started it there was a whine in the governor housing. I ran it about 10 minutes and there was no change. I don"t yet have a service manual. How does the governor get lubrication? Where should I start looking for this noise? Thanks.

Try loosening the bolts where the fanshaft bolts to the gov. Also try loosening the bolts where the fanshaft is bolted to the mount in front of the rad.
Fanshaft may need to be shimmed at gov. Good luck.
