H rear mounted planter

I am looking at a rear mounted check row planter for an H or M. I believe it is either a HM110 or HM210. Does anyone know how to distinguish between the 2 models? Any ideas what years they were manufactured? I'm assuming the 110 was early and the 210 was later? Is one better than the other? Thanks

I never knew they made one, i cant see the belly pump pressure lifting it unless it had a 3 point hitch, and if it had 4 inch cylinders, and then the reservoir would be out of oil, before it got out of the ground!

I think they were uncommon. Here is an owners manual for a H210. They used the belly pump and the same cylinders to lift and lower that the belly planters and cultivators used.

I have a similar question, I picked up this planter earlier this month but I'm having trouble figuring out what model it is. The closest I've seen has been the HM 110 and 210's listed above. I've seen others
mention the 449 and 450 planters but those seem to be pull types. Did they make those in a rear mounted version? Any other thoughts? It seems to be complete or almost so and I would like to try and find the
manual for it.

There were plenty of those belly pumps that were lifting much heavier loads than that planter when a loader was mounted on an H or M.

I believe it is a 110 or 210. I have never seen a 4 row version though. I know for sure it's not a 449 or 450. Those are pull types built in the early 1960's.

Ok, that's what I was leaning towards, could explain why I'm having such a hard time finding it. Like you said most of the 4 row models I've found in my search seem to be later models.

I have found two different brochures one for the F series and one for the Letter series that show the variety of implements available. The closest thing I saw in a 4 row was either the cotton and corn planters or the mid mounted checkrow. Didn't see any quick attachable 4 rows as the F series brochure called the F-110.
