H wiring diagram

Here is a usable diagram. The lights and coil need to be compatible W/ 12v. the original coil can be used with the resistor shown in the diagram. A fuse link at 35 amps should be placed in the wire from the alternator to the amp gauge. A 12 volt coil for use without a resistor, or the original resistor with the resistor shown. All other wires can be used. or replaced as needed. solder all connections and use shrink tubing. Jim

I saved that diagram. I've been wanting to convert at least one of my H's to 12v. I bought a kit with a smaller alternator. The diagram that came with the kit was no help, and it seems every one you find is different.

What complicates my project is the H has a loader on it, and all of the loader plumbing is right where you need to work on electrical stuff.

This looks like something I can work off of, although I have the Hitachi alternator istead of Delco Thanks!!
