Half Century show Olivers

here are some Olivers from the Rantoul show. altho i lean red, these are, in my opinion some of the best looking tractors ever built

Oliver was the tractor of choice at Prairie Village in Madison SD this year. A lot of very nice tractors and some rare ones. Hmmm, won't let me post pics...try later.

We didn’t have any Olivers beyond the three digit series but I think the xx50 series were the most attractive ones.

Always been fond of Oliver's......my small hometown had a dealership. I was able to run most all the big standards except the 2255. Spent several hundred hrs. on a 4wd 2150 & A4T-1600 Plainsman.

Where Oliver excelled in making a good looking tractor was with the front wheel assists. Those were tough looking machines.

That explains why I didn't see you then! I waited awhile then took the tractor pulling the Ranger back to the toy hauler and loaded up for the drive back home. Maybe next time!!

YES Oliver with that huge cast Checkerboard Grill are the best looking tractors ever made

IMHO When White came out with those sick disgusting gray colored tractors with Chrome grills even a mother wouldn't, love no wonder they didnt go over well. Had they kept the Oliver look and colors I think they would have done much better. I consider the gray colored Whites the UGLIEST tractor ever lol

we got there 8:30 Friday morning left just before 6, also did not see anyone Friday at 11 am either was told 1.5 hours of traffic backup that day

Charlie M- Yes, the T stands for turbo. It was to differentiate it from the model 1950 (no T) that came before which was powered by the GM 2-cycle engine.
