Hallettsville Texsa Pull

Who all is going to the pull in Hallettsville? Hear they are pulling all the farm classes first.

Should be a couple of new MM GVI's and a Massey 97. Should be a good turnout,it usually is.

I have heard from two different people that they are going to do all the Div 1's first. This is the kind of thing that happens when an "antique tractor club" puts on a pull. They are more interested in stock tractors, than what they call "hot rods", I have heard some call the modified tractors "exhibition tractors" You can call them what you want, but that is what the crowd is there to see, not some Farmall b with cultivators pulling in low gear.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy any pull, anywhere, but It gets tiring watching tractors go 2 mph all day.

Awesome, the Farmall B with cults in low gear.

It makes it tough to go against the grain of all the other pulls. Also makes it harder on those guys throwing weights in Div 1 also.

Wish I could make it down, but have a Monday AM flight.

The pull is this saturday, It is in an indoor arena north of town.

Go north on 77 as you are getting out of town there is a shell gas station,turn right

Go about 1/2 mile and the arena is on your left.

I was through there last weekend and there are signs up all over town.

I guess we can call you and give you a report of the GVI shootout and other goings on.

You should come to Glen Rose Feb 13th. Even if it is just to watch. That is always a good time. They even have a show that might have some farmall B's in it for you.
