Handy work on a cold day

I have/had a plastic leg bucket fastened to the pallet rack for 20 years but it broke apart last week. I kept air chucks, tire guages etc in it by the air hose reel. Decided to use a chunk of metal I’ve been saving for 15 years to make a replacement. Metal came from an old floating cutter bar that I scraped years ago. I cut to length I wanted, marked it out and used the cut off wheel to score it and bent it in the vise. Cut end pieces and welded it together. Just have to drill holes for screws to fasten it on. I enjoy projects like this!

When I first read this before looking at the pictures my mind was thinking what is a “leg bucket” and how do you support a pallet rack with one? Luckily you posted 3 photos of the leg bucket so it’s real identity soaked in well.😀 The preliminary photos suggest it has the potential to be a quality finished product. I suspect there was supposed to be a photo of the finished product in place of those duplicate photos. Is the finished product “dirt dauber” proof or don’t those plague your area?
