Happy and safe 4th to all. I get the honor and pleasure to drive my younger son's 1942 Ford GPW in the parade tomorrow and my older son, a 13 year marine veteran, is my passenger. We will be in a group of older military vehicles that, after the parade, will be stationed at the local Vietnam Memorial during a VVA 310 picnic. Check them out at VVA310.org

I found out later this evening that we will have the honor and pleasure to have as a special passenger a lady, who was a real B-24 Rosie the Riveter at Willow Run, ride with us in the parade. She started at the plant in February, 1942.

Fighting to eradicate the root of all evil from the love of money to engineered wars can definitely get you killed and telling the truth has now become a revolutionary act.
The closest we've come to a Jefferson and other founding fathers was John F. Kennedy.
Kennedy took this Jefferson quote to heart:

I think that the single mot way everyone can honor Independence Day is to watch this documentary and in so doing truly understand today's America (and Canada is no different).

Ed, not hijack this thread but my 8N I just bought has the same bumper as yours. I thought that maybe mine was missing a bar (below the hitch) since there were holes in it. Yours looks the same. Is yours missing one too or is that the way they're suppose to be?
