I was in bed at 9 and got up for a pee break just after 12. Heard these funny noises outside and thought the wind was blowing tin around big time. Didn't realize the yesterday, being Tue. was the eve. I thought I had remembered that NY was on Thurs.

Hope everybody has a prosperous NY. I have high expectations for the country in 2025.

I went to bed 8:30 and when I woke up yesterday morning 2025 was here, I've done about the same since probably late 70's and the new year has always been there when I wake up.

Ended up bing watching a Netflix series. Last episode I watched ended at 11:55 pm so I said oh well and stayed up the extra five minutes with my wife. I truly believed she enjoyed my company.

We went out dancing and Miss Candy sang a few songs at karaoke. She says no body can sing like Patsy Cline but most who have heard her say she it pretty close. We did make it home before 3 AM LOL

The missus and I went dancing at a local live band New Years Eve party. First time in several years. We had a great time! It felt just like we were just dating again. Gotta say if we had stayed in, it would have been similar to any other weeknight.
