I am in the house for today, but can obtain those dimensions for you. I used them on the front of a 61", 700 series Ferris ZT, and the diameter and bore met the Ferris specs.

I have 10 - 12 pounds of air in my rear tires, 18 or so in the front ones, and a suspension seat. All these things help.

Drop the rears down to 5 psi if they have soft sidewalls and you WILL experience a difference.

My theory on smoothing a rough lawn is like a gravel or dirt road.
You can add dirt and/or gravel and smooth it out. But in a short time the same holes and whoop dee do's are back again.

Same goes for a lawn, adding dirt to low spots only last a short time before they are back. Need to start the lawn from scratch. Plow it, disc it, drag it, etc. and then plant seed or lay down sod.

On Houston Black Clay, the sink holes will reappear as long as there is a bowl for the water to accumulate and sink. Sand covering smoothes that out but doesn't fix it....plowing does....but who wants to plow up their lawn every couple of years.......not me.

A full suspension ZTR is a game changer if comfort is important to you. My ZTR can hit 18MPH and I can go through my pasture at full speed with comfort, bumps don't matter, its a very smooth ride. I don't mow that fast but its nice for comfort and speed.

I feel that your money would be best spent on a real suspension seat, the only drawback is the added ride height due to needing seat travel. The cheaper brackets that go between the seat and seat frame don't make a significant difference, keep that in mind. A true suspension seat should give you around 3 inches of travel, and adjustable to your weight ( usually a large dial on the front of the seat cushion) These types of seats are expensive, my mower came with one, but the upgrade would have cost about $600. Everyone I have known that was reluctant to spend the money on one of these suspension seats, were glad they finally bought one.

More like 4" of travel and you don't have room for that under a lot of suspension seats for mowers and I never could find a mower seat with the springs on the rear....tractors yes, mowers no. Softest ride I have experienced is a newly acquired CaseIH 895 tractor with cab......these were built in the '90-94 time line and its the original seat with the original spring system.....but this tractor has room for the required spring/seat travel....mowers usually don't.

I cut 2 yards today with reduced pressure and yes the difference was noticable.

Toro and Stihl, major manufacturers of mowers, have excellent ZT's with the entire platform suspended. Ride is just like your 55 Buick, like on air. Try one, you'll love it. Stay away from minor brands - Ferris? Never heard of it. Larry

Besides all that has been said, wear a back brace and cinch it up tight. SPARTHOS is a good one. That eliminates much of the discomfort of rough riding.
