Harris 98 Hillside question

Was in Spokane WA over the 4th of July. Was given a ride on a always shedded Harris 98 (not Massey-Harris) Hillside combine. It has the rattle chain instead of walkers and spike tooth cylinder and some really interesting ideas. I suspect most of you guys are from the mid-west so hillside machines might be out of your knowlege base, but how rare would this machine be in this condition? Would love to save it but if there are lots out there anyway it might not be as attractive to do so. Have a chance to get it across the mountains to MN on another load as the combine is free for the taking to a good home.

I would love to have a Harris Hillside Combine!!! Take it!!! How many do you know of in your area? If I remember correctly Harris went out of business in 1974 (???). My goal is to own the only hillside combine on the Kansas Plains - shipping keeps this from happening.

AND POST A PICTURE!

Sounds likes a real keeper. if u got the means to haul it home i would do so. i'm sure a hill side combine in Mn would be a one of a kind. Any old combine in excellent shape like that is worth preserveing. Also post some pictures if u can.

You do realize, if you got a hillside, you'd have to build a hill on those plywood-flat wheatfields to demonstrate it. LOL
Did you know that Harris and Mathews Company were married for a while in the late '60s? M-C actually built a big honkin' level land SP for a couple years using Harris designs, but it never took off.

Uhhhh - no I wouldn't have to build a hill to demonstrate it. I'd drive it in a parade with some of that loud "Rap Crap" music playing. It would be my Redneck Low Rider. Ok so I have a weird sense of humor but I think it would be great fun to drive in a parade tipping it from side to side, up and down from front to back.
