Haverhill NH pull

Anyone on this forum going to the North Haverhill fair pull?
If so, perhaps you could clarify rule #10 "No upper link or similar bracing of standard drawbar, no slipper - uppers"

The way I interpret this, I would have to take my drawbar bracing off which means that it would go straight to the ground. Obviously I could use some clarification and/or an example of what this means.....

It does sound confusing, but I agree there are some drawbars set up like yours. I don't see the problem with the way you have yours set up it's probably as strong and safe as any. North Haverhill has strange weight classes I just don't go anymore I have to bring an extra 1,000 pounds of weights just to make the classes. Good luck and have fun.

The long time organizer of that pull had the most comprehensive set of rules in the two states, and they were the guide for everyone else. That hitch bracing rule comes up only very, very rarely. Your drawbar bracing needs to be vertical or very close to it off the housing. Same as everywhere else. Last year there was a new organizer and no speed limits. It is a very, very tough track, you need a lot of weight on the front and a lot of ponies under the hood to compete in stock class there.

Will you be going? I'd like to go but before I haul my super M 3 hours I want to make sure Im not going to have problems.

If it is OK with Cliff it will be OK at No. Haverhill.
