My wife and I don't farm but we let our neighbor farm this little 5-acre meadow on our place for the last 5 years. I got tired of mowing it. Two years of corn, a year of soybeans, last year hay and oats and this year just hay. It didn't look very nice with no-till crops so I kinda encouraged them to make it a hay field again.
The house in the background is not owned by my family now, but I lived there in the summers with my grandpap back in the early '60s. No indoor plumbing, no TV just family and friends and lots of chores. What I would give to have the old folks and old times back again... Will
