Hay Rake Identification

Hi - Thought this rake was a NH 55, BUT.... Handle style, handle location, triangle cut outs, etc. are making me second guess. Haven't found a picture on the net quite yet. Getting sandblasted this week, and would like to have the right colors back on - HELP!

It resembles an IHC we had back in the 60's. Been way to long to remember any numbers.

The remaining colors would indicate possible NH, but might also be Cockshutt, or maybe even Case.

You've got me. Some of it looks like a NH, and some definitely isn't.

Looks like the IH rake I have. The engagement part and the fill plug look exactly the same as my rake. Only reason I know mine is an IH is I found IH on the wheel hubs

Everyone, take a GOOD look:

Picture No. 3, look at the top bolt, then RIGHT below it, looks like 3 lines, is that not the IH that International Harvester stamped on their stuff? I will try to post a picture of it circled... Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is it?! Bryce

My apologies if this does not post correctly - first time posting here... Bryce, good eye, I think you're right! Not familiar with IH, but hopefully I'm on the right path. Ruled out IH previously based on the 5 point sprockets. Here is a picture with part # (?) for that piece. Any help on narrowing down model and or paint scheme would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone!

Definitely IH. Maybe from the early 60's. Have an IH 15 that looks like it except mine has a solid center instead of the five prong spider to hold the bars.

Neighbor has an IH 16 that looks a lot like that.

I can tell you it is not a NH 55. They don't have a chain on them.

Definitly IH # 15.Perfect match to my #15.Paint colors are red frame,White wheels;basket and strippers.I must admit however I
have never seen that type of 'spyder'.
