Where is a good haybine salvage I need pto shaft for jd 1209 and dealer price is what I paid for machine

Also check with local machine shops especially if you just have a bent shaft. Even with my limited machine shop skills I built a drive shaft for a NH 269. Actually anybody with a lathe and a welder can get it done.

The Mennonite metal shop around here would make that up in a jif.

What is the matter with yours? We had ours break right at the slip clutch plate and welded it up on a 1219 been fine since then.

Bought haybine at Anawan sale and pto shaft walked off night before auction so I don't have one

I know that one off a New Holland 489 or 477 would work.

The complete shaft or just the end that slides in and out? If its just the end measure it you can order the shafting and the yokes build it yourself
