Hd5g hydraulics

Got an early hd5g using to backfill foundation lost all hydraulics no lift or bucket how to diagnose or common issues thanks, good ol machine first real problem in a while

That sounds like the pump drive might have let go,if I remember correctly the pump drive fitted into an adaptor with an internal spline on the inside and outside that fitted to the front pulley,if Hector see this he has good knowledge of those old tractors.

Yes the hydrolic pump shaft spleene have a adaptor and this adaptor fit in flange bolted to the
crankshaft puly and one off these could be damaged or the oil reserve is missing oil or hydrolic
pump is no more good
