head gasket

Got a blown gasket right rear on my 8N. Blowing out the side. No sign of water in the oil. It's in a narrow spot with bush hog attached. Any reason to hesitate running it long enough to move it and drop the bush hog? It is missing on that cyclinder.

Sounds like you are losing compression only. Should have no problem running temporarily.

I would move it out where you can work on it, but wouldn't recommend running it too long.
I ran one for a little while that way before I realized what was wrong.
It didn't seem to do any harm.

yep.. if no water in t he oil.. i'd back it out of the narrow..
