head gasket

could someone tell me wich is beter metal head gasket or soft material gasket thank you

There's NO reason to have trouble with either one if deck surface and head are CLEAN and FLAT and the bolts/holes/studs/threads are clean and the fasteners are properly torqued and then re-torqued after warming up the engine.

Six of one and a half-dozen of the other.

(BTW, when using the metal type I use Copper Coat gasket sealant.)

ditto what bob said.

I kinda prefer the fibre ones.. but either work.. and mega ditto on the copper coat.
