I think K&K out of Wisconsin has them. They always remove them before shipping a block, so they should have a bucket full.
 
When I did my 60 engine I made head studs out of 4140 heat treat round stock cut it right and threaded them, worked nice...
 
when i did my 49B had a buddy of mine that does cdc lathe work make some for me out of 4140 as well, he even put the tapered thread on the block end for me, cost me a case of beer
 
I did mine the old fashion way ,,by hand,,a lathe would do a nice job..Deere wants a fortune for them..It's a wonder some one isn't making them to sell....
