Can somebody tell me what the torque setting is for a Farmall H head and in what order do I torque the head nuts Thank you

I-T manual say 70ft/lbs

Start in the middle with an X shape and work to the ends. Use 3 stages to the specification. 30, 50, 70. Jim

I'm not sure that the IT manual is correct. I think 70 ft lbs is not enough. Seems like I torqued mine to 90 ft lbs..

It has it at 70 for the H and 110 for the M

Start with one and follow the numbers at nut locations if you can make them out as you go through different tightening levels. For some reason IH went from 70 foot pounds to 73 in this later publication.
