Heated gloves, recommendations?

The cold really gets to my hands this year even in 60 degree weather.. I'm diabetic and I think loosing circulation to my hands.. Seeing a lot of ads on FB with a wide range of prices. Seems none of them are available in stores so it's a guess on size and construction. Weston brand is a glove liner which would be the way to go but also the highest price. Anyone have experience with them?

I have a pair of rechargeable battery heated gloves. They have 3 heat ranges. While they do an EXCELLENT job of keeping my hands and fingers warm, they are very bulky and it's pretty much impossible to do any fine work with them on. Great for holding on to snowmobile handlebars, not so much for starting a 1/4-20 nut.

The exact model I bought on Amazon is no longer listed but I see a wide range of choices. Be prepared for a little sticker shock.

I don't have heated gloves but looked to see if any local stores carry them and found that at least 3 stores have them on hand. If you have a Scheels, Runnings or Acme Tools in your area they might have them.

I just looked at Fleet Farm and they have a few different heated gloves on hand locally in Bismarck ND. If you have a Fleet Farm in your area it might be another place to check.

None of those stores in my area. Only TSCs.

Try wearing glove liners inside ski gloves. Not only do the liners add a layer of insulation, you can take off your outer gloves for added dexterity without exposing your skin to the cold. You'll find glove liners in the same stores that sell the ski gloves.

I bought mine at Dunham's Sports. They had a good selection and reasonable prices. If you got a store near you check them. I am always satisfied with their stuff...

Toasty Touch are good. Also you keep a good degree of dexterity and you can use a mobile/cell phone with them on. They are not especially cheap, but the quality is there.
