Has anyone purchased a heater cab from external_link.com? Pricing is good, how"s the quality? I"ve purchased parts there and had great luck.

Thanks,

Chad

Hey Chad, I was thinking about getting a new one from TSC. $195.00. I don't think they are canvas though. I think they have the blue plastic type. I'm going to check soon. The canvas type would be much better. I have a old canvas one from the sixties but the windshield is all yellowed and cracked. Didn't know you could buy that seperately. I may just buy a new windshield and patch the rest. Could have used it this morning, 10*.

You can buy them direct from Femco too. They're a manufacturer and will sell directly to you. We've got 3 that were made by Femco. A Massey 165, 285, and our Oliver 1855. Both of them for the Massey's have the MF logo on them, but even femco says they are the OEM for Massey. The one on our 1855 I got from the Oliver dealer a few years back, although I could have ordered it direct fro the same price and had it shipped right to my house.

All 3 are custom fit so they do cost a little more, but I highly reccomend a custom fit heater cab as they're easier to install and they have model specific directions on how to install them. No drilling required either, which is a HUGE plus.
