Help building case 830 engine

I am wanting to build a case 830 gas engine to pull with. I have a 830 lp block and heads. Rules are pretty open but the pocket book is not huge. How big can I bore the block? Then what do I use for sleeves and pistons? How much can I stroke the crank? What do I use for rods? Thank you. Currently running a stock stroke 336 gas 830 using 504 sleeves and Minneapolis pistons. Thanks again

Unless your ready to spend a lot of money with more bore and stroke you might look at camshaft upgrade, head porting and carb work

I am ready to spend some money. I was hoping to find out what others have done and what worked.

Are you allowed to use the Case-O-Matic drive when pulling or do you have to use direct drive?

Either is acceptable. We mostly run speed limit classes around here. There are some open classes

Start with a six cylinder--you will get 1/2 again as much hp.---Tee
