I have a 1940 9n. Runs great, put a new tire on last year, this winter the other rear went bad. Tried to get it loose from the center wheel by loosening the bolts still wouldnt come loose. But I did notice that just under the lip it is badly rusted and seperated rusted all the way through all the way around. Need a wheel. I will include a picture. I found another ford with a possible trade for some snowmobiles I have but the wheels and tires are different.
Can someone tell me if they are compatiable?
Does someone have a wheel for sale? or will the the wheels and tires in second picture fit my ford.
I can not quite read what tire it is on the other wheel picture. Can someone tell me what size of tire they are? my tires are 9.5 x 32 but I cant figure out what he has. thanks for any help. my wheel and tire is the grey wheel with new tire the other one is red.

I did find the tire size. 13.6 x 26. I think the best thing I could do is find a used wheel for mine. He said one of his wont hold air and looks like the wheel has some welding done on it. Might be in the same boat as now if I try to use the 13.6 x 26 wheels. I have heard that you can go to other size wheels and tires for the 9n but I already got one new tire would just like to get a used wheel and another new 9.5 x 32 for mine as Ive got it running good with loads of new parts. thanks for any help. Hope someone out here has a used wheel to sell.

Looks like someone has welded 26" rims on a 28" centers. I would forget about those and look for a 32" rim to fit your wheel or a good set of 28"(easier to find) wheels, rims and tires.

If you are doing a restoration then of course pass on them.
If you have a working tractor and want many, many years of service then the welded ones will be fine.
Sometimes you do what you gotta do.
Like weld JD rims onto Ford centers.

How much for one. I need the one where the tire seats I suppose that is the one that usually rusts away. Thanks
