Help identify?

Hello, organizing some parts I acquired earlier and I need some help. About 2 1/2 inches long approximately 3/8 diameter. Spring loaded like a check valve perhaps? Was in a box with some parts I have identified as C6EV zenith carb parts perhaps like a Allis Chalmers K crawler might have used. Thanks, Mike

It would appear to be the ''economizer piston assembly" for the Zenith C6EV carburetor you mentioned.
