I guess this is from before tractors but still farm related. My Uncle was just given this. We are told it was called a horse sweep, or horse power. It appears that 4 horses would be hitched to it and walked in a circle, turning a series of gears which then turned a shaft.
I was seeing if I could find a maker or any info for it. I see some on Google but none that match. I didn't see any identifying castings on it. Any one have any idea or know where to point me?
