Help identifying old plow.

Help with plow identification. I got this plow out of an old barn that was to be torn down. I can't seem to be able to identify what make it is. Thought I could make it work on my 3 of hitch. The long bar protruding from the front I thought was part of a trip mechanism and could be sleeved to my pull bar. Needless to say it was a failure. Could use some help to identify And also how it should attach.

Long bar protruding out the front seems like it would be for a john Deere M or John Deere LA

Sure does sound like a plow for a JD M or MT.
Here is one I crudely modified for a 3 point.
Did this years ago and it worked well.

That would be the plow. No matter how or what I googled it never ended up with the right plow. Also never realized how many different plows that have been designed over the years. Some of them are really amazing. Thank you for the information. Now I know what I have and how its supposed to hook up. And the pics of the 3pt change over will help a lot. Thanks again.
