Help identifying tractor model

Just purchased this case tractor and need help
identifying the exact model so the correct service
manuals can be ordered. It has a gas engine and looks to have 4 speeds and a gear marked "s". Some teeth on a few gears have
been ground off and will not go forward or reverse; need to be replaced. The loader is a model 31. Based on my research; think it's a Case 310 but not positive. Couldn't find a model number off the backhoe. Couldn't find the serial number on the tractor and any help would be appropriated.

Looks more like a 530 to me based on the gas tank and instrument cluster. But if I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me

It is not a 310 or later 310B. The S on the shifter cover stands for start. If the switch is functioning, that is the neutral position the shifter must be in to start the engine. That is safety feature to prevent accidental starting in gear. It is a dry clutch tractor has a 4 speed transmission with no reverse so it has a shuttle in front of the 4 speed that gives you 4 speed ahead and 4 speed in reverse that is 25% faster than the same gear ahead. That is a loader tractor feature for slow push in and fast back out. The forward/reverse shuttle lever is the long one on the left side of the torque tube cover. On the same cover right side is a short lever for dual range, direct and low speed. If this were an old truck the shuttle & dual range gear trains would be called a pony transmission.

I could go on but I can't really positively id the tractor by you pics, but it looks to me to be a 530CK.

Look closely in this area for a model/serial tag or the holes where it was attached if missing. There should also be an engine serial nr on the lower right side block that may help to order engine parts.

The model 31 loader was used on the model
530 and 540 tractors

The 17th picture shows what looks like the anchor bracket for the power steering cylinder on the right hand side of the front axle. It is similar to the Case 320 Industrial tractor that I recently acquired. The front hubs also look identical to those on a 320. 530 hubs are stubbier than the 320 front hubs.

That bracket and cover was the same configuration for all the utility tractors that had the Bendix steering cylinder.

This tractor whether it is 530CK or not has the heavy duty hubs with the push on end cover. Utility tractors with regular duty hubs have a end cover with 4 cap screws.

I just think this looks like a 530CK but could possibly be any tractor in the early/mid 60's I guess.

Modern tractors like this are definitely not my strong suit if I even have one.

The exposed fuel tank with a short hood, and the 8 lug rear wheels are also an indication of a 530. The 300 series had a full length hood and 6 lug rear wheels.

Thank you for your help Joe. Here's some better pictures of the cluster, looks like the serial plate has been removed. Also found some numbers on the right side of the engine.
