My genny quit putting out, gen light stays on dim with the engine running.
I"m looking for some detailed help in figuring out what exactly is wrong. I"ve done quit a bit of seaching in the forunm, all I can find is the motor test of the generator.
Before I try that I want to make sure I"m understanding correctly.
I run a hot wire from the battery to the armatur terminal and then to the field terminal. Each one with the belt off should cause the gen to motor?
If it does are there any voltage tests I can do to figure out if it"s the regulaor or wiring?
