Help mounting loader on ford 3000 tractor

Hey there,

I’m looking for some help on mounting a 19-529 loader on my ford 3000.

I took the loader off to replace the clutch and now am having a hard time getting it back on.

The two rear mounting holes that go through the fender mounts are slightly too short and I can’t get it any further back.

The two large bolts that mount to the front are bottomed out which isn’t allowing it to go back the half inch or so it needs.

Any ideas why this is? See attached pictures

Thank you

Welcome to the forums.

You posted you took it off to replace the clutch so we know it will bolt up on your tractor. It only takes a small bit of misalignment for things not to line up and fit.

Push. pull, a com-a-long, jacks, tapered point prybars and alignment pins will be your friends. Engage the mounting bolts you can and run them in part way. Leave them loose enough to allow the loader frame to shift some. If you tighten the bolts as you go you can prevent the movement you need to get the last bolts in.

Maybe the hydraulics settled down a bit?
Could try playing with the hydraulics when the tractor is running to see if that makes a difference, just stay clear in case something happens.
