Howdy all, I was hoping to try and get some help on finding a part that I need on my case 830 gas. The problem is that during a bitter cold spell a year ago I tried to start the tractor and the distributor was froze solid....resulting in the bending of the shaft and busting of the drive gear on the distr. The problem I'm having is locating another dist....my model has a gear drive....not a slot drive "tang"....case doesn't seem to make this odd ball. I need either help finding a used one....or advice...maybe I need to change the oil pump and convert it to the more common slot and groove drive??? Any help or advice would be great...thanks...below are the serial number of the tractor and the dist#.
