New member here. My 20-year owned 1972 model 3500 with 3 cylinder diesel needs a replacement starter. Do any members have experience in accessing the blind bolt on the starter so it can be removed? The other two bolts came out without incident. This blind bolt removal is holding up the replacement. Any recommendations will be appreciated. (Starter is 5").

I would add, a 6 inch and 3 inch WOBBLE extensions - 3/8 drive worked best for me.
Take the negative battery cable off before you start.
