This is a re-post of an earlier post and I now have pictures uploaded. Any help greatly appreciated!

I have this tractor that was part of my late father's estate and hoping someone can provide a little help with value. Please bear with me as I am a novice with these tractors! Here is what I know:
1962 Oliver 550
Loader,PTO,power steering,gasoline engine.
As seen in photos has weight box mounted - missing 3-point brackets, etc but 3 point control arms work fine.
Lots of rubber on tires.
Everything works and runs great. Maintained and used very little as was restored about 10 years ago: Complete mechanical overhaul, paint, excellent condition.

WOW! I have to revise my $3500 estimate! That thing is gorgeous. I'd have to say $5000 would be a starting place if you were trying to sell it,maybe more.

$5k and north for the right guy. When you start
spending more than that I start looking for more HP.
Very nice rig.

I paid $5500 for mine 7 yrs ago, 1973 model. Similar loader, but it didn't look quite as nice as yours back then. Like Shep said, got to find the right buyer. Mine was close to home and was the tractor I wanted so I was willing to pay for it. Since it was your fathers are you sure you want to sell it?

Thanks for everyone's input.
One question - do the estimates include the fact that it is missing the 3-point hardware? The main armiture is there and works fine up and down....
Also - should there be a sheermetal cowling etc on the front? Not installed because of loader.

i just sold little newer unit all original with
original loader $4500.00. was always in shed when
not in use. the original owner bought it new i got
it off the estate sale. probably should kept it.
But when you have a decent size skid loader those
tractors seldom get used.

Yes, you are missing the front grill- For that year it should be metal with horizontal bars. Look at some pics and you will see. Mine is newer and has "waffle" pattern and is fiberglass.
On your 3-pt. If you are missing some parts then yes, that will affect price a bit. I'd say $4500 would be a fair price, give or take. Good Luck.
