Help With Power Steering Pump

I'm taking apart my power steering pump to replace the seal behind the pully but I can't figure out how to get the seal out. Can anybody help? Pump is number C3NN3A674CHHS. Thanks.

Cardone does a reman. of these pumps with upgraded parts. Checker Oreilly matched the online price. It was only $109. So now I'm trying to remove the resevoir. I can't get a wrench on the bolt.

I removed the reservoir from mine recently. It was no problem, just used a fairly large socket.

will this pump work on my 1955 960 with power steering?if 96-6051 will work ,i'm just going to get one of those.

There is that washer looking platform that the filter sits on that prevents me from getting a socket on the bolt. errrr.

The 96-6051 is the same as C3NN3A674C as far as I can tell. They look the same to me. It will be here tomorrow afternoon so I will hopfully get it installed on Sunday afternoon. I'll let you all know if your interested?

I think that the washer/platform is supposed to come out with the filter. at least mine did.

That's what I was thinking too. But mine has been brazed together so that the washer covers about 15% of the bolt making it impossible to get a socket on it. So now I'm going to try and find a new filter platform to replace this one. I'm wondering if this will work?
