Help with starter and alternator

My son just purchased a neighbor's property with a John Deere 350-c that he has previously used. I believe the starter went out and the previous owner had someone come out to replace it but he disconnected wires to the starter and alternator and never came back. Can someone post a schematic of the starter and alternator or post a couple pics of their starter and alternator if you have a 350c? It would be very helpful. I have tried searching on line but I can't find a thing. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

What is the complete serial number on the tag? is the tag below the seat behind the Operator's right calf when seated? Or on the front panel for the battery box? I ask as the serial number locations and formats changed in the 350B production run. The original series of the 350 serial numbers did not use a -C. If it is a 350C it is newer and has some differences from a straight 350. And just because it might have decals that say 350C does not mean it is, many 350s have received 350C decal after a paint job. I would rather not try to answer without correct identification.

Post pictures of the starter, the alternator, and loose wire by each. The starter should not be much of a wiring issue, it should be a Delco Remy with a mounted solenoid. The alternator needs to be identified as it may or may not be the original Motorola set up after all these years.
