I am going to take the top of my Ford 3910 injector pump because the throttle shaft and shut off shaft ARE leaking fuel. Will there be a lot of pressure under this control cover when I remove the top? Will I have to bleed the injector pump when I go to start the tractor after I replace the o rings? I would appreciate any info. Thanks tractor friends! This is a Lucas CAV Injector pump Percy

There is no pressure in this part. turn fuel off at tank, remove linkages,two acorn nuts, raise cover up slightly, un- hook spring paying attention which hole it is hooked in. remove cover. make sure to replace gasket too.
