I need to place a freeze plug in an upper port of the IX5 Hercules engine. The reason for the plug is I converted the engine from a water pump system to thermal sypon.
I measured it and believe I have the correct size, but wanted to double check with the group.
Could someone please provide the diameter of this port.
Also, should I be able to buy this plug at any automotive store, or are there certain pecularites to this engine.
Any information would be appreciated.
