Got my copy of the Heritage Eagle Yesterday. Just wanted to complement you on a great article! I didn't catch it the first time around in the 90's. Enjoyed reading about your family history and your Case roots. The pictures were awesome. I think you may have a second career in investigative journalism! hahaha!

Hey John yes, I saw it too, but this is the second time! Didn't have time to go back in my archives but remember you have been in the Eagle before on your family dealership. Great article too Ray!

Thanks everybody!! How it came about was that Ray had a picture of his freshly restored 800 in the Fall '17 Eagle, so I wrote him & complimented him on it & said that I had restored an 800 several years ago. My Dad had sold the 800 new, we bought it back from the original owner & over the course of 7 years, totally restored it.
Ray then asked me to write a story about it & the old dealership. When I reminded him that he published a story in '89, we agreed to update it & re-run it.

Great Story John.. I think Ray is recycling and updating some older stories/ etc,as he ran a tweaked version of a letter I sent him years ago.. He did update the first part, by me thanking him for publishing
my Case 120 article, but the rest was WAAAAYYYYY old.. I have sold the VAC14 and 211B (Still have the 530 diesel) but now I am up to 18 Case and Colt Garden tractors!! the 155 was my first Case GT! Oh well,
keeps life interesting!
