Hesston 1014 guards

1014 has all plateless guards. Won't cut fine hay. No way to adjust. Book shows only for drive end. Anyone had any experiences?

You only show the bottom half. It needs the upper part.They are called hold down guards. With correct sharp sections they will cut fine grass.

Won't cut prairie hay. Just pounds. Changed all sections.
