? on Allis G. I have 2 now; one with correct motor and the other with a pony motor.

Are the internals the same? I would like to find a correct AC G block and reuse internals from the pony motor.

Hey Shep, block is different due to how the starter mounts, the head is different only in that the G water neck is a bolt on, has an indent in one side for the fan shaft to pass by, and it leans 45 degrees to the front towards the radiator. As far as I've ever heard the insides are the same. FYI there is a man on the Allis Forum selling the motor out of one he's converting to electric

I have two motors from electric conversions in central Florida. Not sure of there overall condition.

I was aware of the starter difference and that is what prompted me to start looking. Few yrs. back I went to TN to get my first G (pony motor).

Long story short I bought a starter only to find out it didnt fit. Began looking for another motor and ended up with another G instead. Want to make a his and hers for me and Mrs. ShepFL
